The Last Wolf approached me with a clear vision for his project. The album explores dark themes, yet carries a sense of optimism he wanted reflected in the artwork. He was drawn to a collage aesthetic, referencing the visual world of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by the Smashing Pumpkins. Inspired by this direction, the final piece evokes a dreamlike atmosphere, as if emerging from Elysium in Greek mythology.
The Last Wolf est venu vers moi avec une idée très précise de son projet. L’album aborde des thèmes sombres, tout en laissant place à une forme d’optimisme qu’il souhaitait voir reflétée dans la pochette. Il était attiré par une esthétique de collage, en faisant référence à l’univers visuel de ‘Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness‘ des Smashing Pumpkins.
Inspiré par cette direction, le visuel final évoque une atmosphère onirique, comme sorti d’Élysium dans la mythologie grecque.
